The Guldmann Basic Comfort High sling is designed for lifting and moving people who have little or no motor function in their head and upper body. The sling supports the entire body and the head, adjustable head support can be folded down if it is not needed. Two extra loops have been added to the leg straps, which can be used to help keep users’ thighs in a neutral position, or to make space for hygiene procedures between their legs.

This model sling is used for lifts to and from a lying position (in a bed, on the floor, etc.) and to and from a sitting position. Not only is this lifting sling suitable for most users, but it can also be used for lifts with the leg straps overlapped under both legs – when lifting single- or double amputees, for instance – or used to provide individual/separate leg support for patients who are particularly sensitive to pressure.

The Guldmann Basic Comfort High sling is available in several sizes and is made from polyester net/spacer material, which can be used as a bathing sling.
